Under the slogan, “With the free will of women, we end the policies of genocide, occupation, and isolation,” women’s movements continue to organize more events on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

In this context, the Zenobia Women’s Assembly Council, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Raqqa canton, Hevin Ismail, and members of civil and military institutions visited today the leadership of the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa Province, the Internal Security Forces checkpoints, centers, and the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) in Raqqa canton and the Foundation Families of martyrs; To congratulate them on the arrival of March 8.

The coordinator of the Zenobia Women’s Council, Buthaina Abdo Asayesh, congratulated the woman and said: “We salute your steadfastness and struggle. You have always been the ideal symbol of women’s sacrifice and valor. We will prevail with the free will of women and liberate all the occupied territories.”

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Raqqa Province, Hevin Ismail, also congratulated the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units and affirmed, “With your help, you liberated the region from the terrorism of ISIS mercenaries.”
