Described as positive: meeting between DAA representatives, transitional government officials conclude

ANHA's correspondent reported that the meeting between representatives of North and East Syria and officials of the transitional government in Syria, with the participation of US envoy Thomas Barrack and representatives of the French government, concluded in Damascus this afternoon.

Participants described the meeting as positive, and stated that negotiations will continue in the next phase.

The delegation from North and East Syria included Ilham Ahmed, co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, and Mazloum Abdi, commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces. Fawza Youssef and Abdul Hamid al-Mahbash co-chaired the delegation of representatives of North and East Syria.

The delegation arrived in Damascus today to continue meetings and dialogue with the transitional government, as part of the follow-up to the implementation of the March 10 agreement signed between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the transitional government.

On June 1 of this year, an official meeting was held in the capital, Damascus, between a delegation from North and East Syria and a delegation from the transitional government in Syria. This meeting was part of the follow-up to the implementation of the March 10 agreement signed between the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Damascus authorities.
