The Democratic Peoples' Council in the North and East of Syria region issued a statement today condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation state.

The statement was read in front of the building of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Raqqa by the Co-Chair of the Democratic Peoples' Council, Siham Qaryo, in the presence of members of the Peoples' Council and its presidency.

The statement stated,

"We condemn the barbaric and systematic attack on civilians, children, women, infrastructure and service facilities, and we stand in reverence and respect for the souls of the martyrs and offer our condolences to the families of the martyrs.

The Turkish attacks are a blatant violation of international conventions and laws and a violation of Syrian sovereignty.

The international powers in Syria must fulfill their responsibilities towards protecting the region, closing the airspace to the Turkish occupation aircraft and taking a firm stance towards the terrorist policies against the people of North and East Syria. We call on our peoples to stand and unite against the fascism of the Turkish state to thwart the plans targeting our existence, Administration and people.
