DEM Party delegation, North Kurdistan organizations leave Rojava

A delegation of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party and organizations from North Kurdistan; DEM co-chair Tülay Hatim Oğulları, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-chair Keskin Bayindir, Democratic Unity Initiative spokespersons Gülcan Kaçmaz and İmam Taşçıer, Socialist Support Platform for Progress (SODAP) spokesperson Kızban Konukçu, Free Women's Movement (TJA) spokesperson Çimen Fidan, Peace Mother Asya Tay, Lawyers for Freedom Association (OHD) President Mehmet Ali Aslan, Democratic Islam Conference member Ali Angay, DEM Mersin MP Ali Bozan, and Mardin Bar Association President Ahmet Doyan, departed on Friday to South Kurdistan. The delegation had visited Rojava on January 21.

The delegation's visits included meetings with the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Kongra Star, the Joint Kurdish Delegation, and the Autonomous Administration's Department of Foreign Relations. A statement was issued at the Department of Foreign Relations headquarters. The statement emphasized the importance of supporting Rojava and called on everyone to participate in the Rojava resistance.

The delegation left Rojava on Friday morning, heading towards South Kurdistan.
