Delegation from Rojava discusses strengthening joint cooperation with Sulaymaniyah Governor

A delegation from the Rojava representations in Southern Kurdistan met with the Governor of Sulaymaniyah, Haval Abu Bakr, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in the cultural, scientific, and economic fields, alongside political developments in Kurdistan.

The discussion took place during a visit by the delegation today to the Sulaymaniyah Governorate office. The delegation included Rihan Loqo, the representative of Rojava in Southern Kurdistan, as well as representatives from the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kongra Star (Women’s Movement) representation.

The meeting addressed prospects for developing relations and joint cooperation, and included an exchange of views on overall political developments in Kurdistan, with a particular focus on Rojava and Southern Kurdistan.

The delegation commended the role of the Sulaymaniyah Governorate in supporting national causes, emphasizing the importance of enhancing communication, coordination, and the development of relations between Rojava and Southern Kurdistan in a manner that serves their mutual interests.
