Delegation from  Kurdistan National Congress visits political parties

A delegation from the Kurdistan National Congress, including the co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress, Zeinab Murad, her deputy, Hevi Mustafa, and members of the conference's administrative body, Abdullah Mustafa, Suleiman Elias, and Taz Pasha, visited the headquarters of the political parties in the city of Qamishlo, in al-Jazira Canton of North and East Syria.

The delegation began its visit to the branches of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria (KDPS), the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekiti), and the Kurdish National Council in Syria, where they were received by the secretariats of the parties and members of their leadership bodies.

During these visits, Zeynep Murad, co-chair of the Kurdistan National Congress, emphasized the importance of ensuring the rights of the Kurdish people and noted the strong and effective unity of the Kurdish position and ranks in Rojava.

She emphasized that the interests of the people must be paramount, noting that issuing the conference's decisions and documents requires determination and serious commitment.

During a visit to the headquarters of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria, party secretary Salah Darwish explained that everyone is required to work to implement the conference's outcomes, and that the steps following the conference will be the most important.

Salah Darwish referred to the "Peace and Democratic Society" call issued by Leader Abdullah Ocalan, saying: "Leader Ocalan's initiative paves the way for peace, and we hope that the Turkish state will not do anything to thwart this initiative."

During a visit to the other branch of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party of Syria (PDPKS), party secretary Ahmed Barakat explained that great efforts have been made to resolve the Kurdish issue in Rojava, and that after the conference, the division between Kurdish parties and forces must be resolved.

He also noted that the Syrian Democratic Forces possess significant power and can support the Kurdish movement.

During the delegation's visit to the headquarters of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party (Yekiti), party secretary Muhyiddin Sheikh Ali explained that the conference was enriching and the first of its kind in Kurdish history, adding, "The strength and organization of the Kurds in Syria is the strength and organization of all."

The delegation's visit to the Kurdish National Council in Syria was closed to the media.

The KNK delegation extended an invitation to political parties to participate in their 23rd conference, which will be held on May 24-25 in the Netherlands.

Previously, the delegation visited the autonomous administration institutions in al-Jazira Canton, and the delegation's visits are expected to continue in the coming days.
