Deir-ez-Zor Military Council Commander: We are on full alert to repel any attacks

ANHA's agency met the Commander of Deir ez-Zor Military Council, Nuri al-Khalil, talk about the latest developments in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside following the attacks on the area by the Damascus Government forces and their so-called "National Defence."

The Commander said: "There are significant challenges facing the regions of North and East Syria as a result of the increased efforts of the Damascus Government to destabilize security, particularly in Deir ez-Zor because of its strategic importance, but the Syrian Democratic Forces have always been and will remain ready to repel attacks by Iranian militias and Damascus Government mercenaries."

 He commended the role of SDF in countering today ' s recent attack on the eastern-line areas of Granij, al-Sahdah, al-Tyana, Dihban and some other areas, with a view to destabilizing the region and eliminating the attackers.

The Commander of the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, Nuri al-Khalil, condemned the indiscriminate and brutal shelling of the launcher rockets and the mortar, which had led to the death of martyrs among civilians.

 he commended the role of the people in supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces after the attack.

 He emphasized the readiness of troops to respond to these attacks and their concern for stability and security in the region.
