The statement read: "Over the past few days, we have seen fabricated statements falsely attributed to the tribes of Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa. As tribal elders and sheikhs, we completely reject the use of our names in foreign-driven plots aimed at sowing discord and destabilizing our communities."

They emphasized their rejection of attempts by individuals abroad to speak on behalf of the tribes, asking:

"Where were you when ISIS invaded our villages, enslaved our women, and our youth were martyred? You were applauding the regime and living in hotels, while we were paying the price of war in blood."

The signatories affirmed their support for the SDF, saying: "Our sons serve in these forces, and thanks to their sacrifices, we were able to defeat terrorism." They stressed that "no one has the right to speak in our name or claim to represent us."

The statement urged residents not to be drawn into sectarian incitement, adding: "War has exhausted everyone, and it's time to work toward peace."

The tribal elders also underscored their commitment to unity, rejection of strife, and cooperation for a more stable future for Syria.

Among the tribes that signed the statement: Al-Afadleh, Al-Akidat, Al-Shaitat, Al-Jabour, Al-Bakara, Al-Bu Khabour, Al-Ajeel, Al-Fad'aan, Al-Hashem, Al-Bu Shaaban, Al-Bu Nasser, Al-Sardiya.
