The Damascus government called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council to bear responsibility and put an end to the aggressive Israeli policies that threaten to ignite the region and push it towards a comprehensive escalation that threatens regional and international peace and security, ignoring the ongoing Turkish aggression against Syria.

The demand, which ignored the Turkish aggression against the NE Syria, came through a statement by the so-called Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressed to both the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council regarding the Israeli attack that targeted the vicinity of the city of Damascus on the 25th of this month, which led to the killing of the official in Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Damascus, Radhi Mousawi.

This, and as a result of the Turkish aggressive military actions, the scale of destruction of various infrastructure, vital, health and service facilities, private and public property, has increased throughout the region of NE Syria, as the Turkish attacks resulted in the martyrdom of a number of civilians and the wounding of dozens, not to mention the deprivation of 89,418 students of education.
