Condemnations in Raqqa for Turkish occupation massacres NE, Syria

The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are launching extensive attacks on the regions of North and East Syria, particularly targeting cities and towns in most districts with drones and warplanes, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded.

The political activist Shawakh al-Ali, from Raqqa, said that the escalation of Turkish military attacks and the affiliated mercenary factions primarily target the autonomous administration project and the popular gains achieved in recent years.

Al-Ali considered that the targeting of the North and East Syria region project proves that the ruling and neighboring regimes fear the continuation of this democratic project, as it serves as a compass for peoples in achieving their demands, in addition to their fear of the spread of this experience.

Al-Ali confirmed that the autonomous administration, as a governance project, has proven its success over the past few years, despite the restrictions it faces and the limited resources and continuous Turkish assaults.

As for the member of the Relations Office in the Syrian Democratic Council, Mohammed Darwish, he called on international powers, the Security Council, and the United Nations to pressure Turkey and take an active role in stopping the continuous attacks and aggressions.

Darwish confirmed that the Turkish military war machine and its affiliated factions primarily target civilians, in addition to targeting vital facilities.

For his part, member of the Democratic Islam Conference, Sobhi Shiyar, said that the Tishrin Dam has transformed, thanks to the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women's Protection Units, into the Dam of Martyrs, Resilience, and Resistance.

He pointed out Turkey's attempts to exploit the current chaos in Syria to achieve political and geographical gains on the ground, which has become evident in several Syrian areas through the raising of the Turkish flag and the establishment of several institutions that work to Turkify the region.

Shiyar confirmed that the Turkish massacres in the regions of North and East Syria are evidence that Turkey does not differentiate in its barbaric military attacks, carrying out a genocide against the region's inhabitants.
