Today, the Afrin and Shahba Canton Council made a statement to the public opinion, read by member of the training Body in the Sardam Camp Council, Gulistan Mustafa, in Kurdish, and  member of the Education Body in Afrin and Shahba Canton, Zuhair Halabi, in Arabic, in front of the Afrin and Shahba Canton Council Center, in Sardam camp in the town of Al-Ahdath, with the participation of members of bodies, councils and political parties.

The statement condemned the decision issued by the Iraqi judiciary to dissolve the Kurdistan Community Freedom Movement (Freedom Movement), the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party (PADÊ), and the Democratic Struggle Front Party, stressing that all parties represent the will of the Kurdish people and preserve their rights, and these decisions must be confronted.

The statement stressed: "Respecting international laws and condemning the Iraqi government's acquiescence to the Turkish occupation at the expense of the Kurds and the political parties that decided to dissolve them, represent the approach of political life and a reflection to life."
