Components of NE Syria support Leader Ocalan’s call

In a historic step, the “Peace and Democratic Society” process has witnessed new developments. In a recorded message, leader Abdullah Ocalan delivered a direct address for the first time in 27 years.

Leader Ocalan stated: “The current phase compels us to take practical steps. This stage and the steps to be taken are of historic importance. To understand the current phase, we must show goodwill and move forward.”

He emphasized: “My belief lies in politics and the peace of society, not in weapons. I urge you to embrace this principle.” He also extended his greetings to the people.

After receiving the historic message from leader Abdullah Ocalan, crowds of Kurds, Arabs, and Syriacs in the city of Tirbespiyê took to the streets to show their solidarity and joy at watching the visual message from the leader.

A convoy of cars paraded through the city’s main market and neighborhoods, reflecting the unity of the region’s communities and their response to the call.

Participants expressed their full support for Leader Ocalan’s message, stressing the importance of dialogue and peace as a path to resolving the issues of the Middle East.
