Clerics warn against attempts to sow discord among components of NE,Syria

Some hostile parties inside and outside Syria are trying to sow discord among components of the Syrian people, through some pages and virtual communication platforms, with the aim of creating a rift between the components.

The components of North and East Syria, with all their societal segments, warned against these attacks, and affirmed their support for the autonomous administration project, which was an example of brotherhood among peoples and co-existence among all segments of Syrian society.

The head of the religious institution in Deir-ez-Zor, Eid al-Dhiyab, warned against attempts to sow discord among components through some people on virtual communication pages and platforms.

Sheikh Abdul Dhiyab stressed the importance of solidarity and social cohesion among all components of the Syrian people to confront the challenges threatening the region.

He pointed out the need to be aware and cautious of seditions that may be planted for political or personal reasons, explaining that the religious institution works to strengthen national unity among members of society and urges mosque preachers to spread this message.

Al-Dhiyab added that the Syrian people have become more aware of what is going on around them, and that there is an urgent need to be cautious of any attacks, whether from Turkey or Israel, and stressed that it is the duty of every Syrian citizen to resist any aggressor on Syrian territory.

For his part, Sheikh Hamoud al-Aliwi, a member of the religious institution in Deir-ez-Zor canton, said that the country cannot tolerate more bloodshed after the suffering, displacement and loss of resources it has witnessed.

He called for the need to use political means and negotiations to avoid more violence and destruction, and stressed the importance of unity among all components of the Syrian people to build a unified and strong homeland.

Al-Aliwi stressed that the current stage requires everyone to unite against sedition and aggressors, and that solid construction is the only way to ensure a better future for Syria.
