Residents: We face  historic opportunity to obtain Kurdish people rights

In their interview with ANHA's agency, citizens from Girkê Legê called on the Kurdish political parties to unify their ranks as soon as possible, and not to waste a historic opportunity to obtain the rights of the Kurdish people.

Shirin Fattah from the village of Tal Jaman expressed her hope for the unification of the ranks of the Kurdish political parties, and continued by saying: "There is a historic opportunity in the hands of the Kurdish people, and it is necessary to overcome the existing differences and work to achieve national unity in order to preserve the gains that were achieved thanks to our martyrs and to reach our rights as a Kurdish people, so the Kurdish parties must leave all differences and unify their ranks."

Mahmoud Hamdo from the town of Mustafawiyya saw a historic opportunity to unify the Kurdish ranks, and added: "We are the owners of the land and we will not abandon it, and we must unify our ranks in order to preserve our identity, language and gains. It is the duty of political parties to reject all differences and put aside narrow partisan interests."

For his part, Issa Khalaf from the city of Girkê Legê called on all political parties to speed up the achievement of unity, adding: "If we do not achieve our national unity, we will lose a historic opportunity to gain our rights, and with it we will lose our identity."
