Clashes between Damascus government and "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" mercenaries in Aleppo countryside

Today, the fronts of the western countryside of Aleppo city witnessed an escalation between the Damascus government and the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) in the axis of the city of Atarib in the western countryside of Aleppo.

Websites belonging to the mercenaries of the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" broadcast this morning excerpts under the name "Jaljalat", through which they announced what it called "the start of battles on the fronts of Aleppo."

In the same context, a number of military sources revealed to ANHA agency that the mercenaries controlled 3 points in the axis of the attack, and the escape of dozens of elements affiliated with the Syrian government in Qubtan al-Jabal and Sheikh Aqeel near the 46th regiment in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The attack was accompanied by intense artillery and missile bombardment exchanged between the Damascus government and the mercenaries of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, and Russian warplanes intervened in the airspace of the so-called "De-escalation" area, which was one of the outputs of "Astana" according to the Turkish-Russian understandings.

Russian warplanes launched raids on the rear points of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries in the vicinity of the city of Atarib in the western countryside of Aleppo, accompanied by artillery shelling of the cities of Atarib and Darat Azza and the surrounding villages, without information about casualties so far, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

On the other hand, the western countryside of Aleppo witnessed, on Tuesday, a large displacement movement from the city of Atarib and the surrounding villages, as a result of military build-up and heavy shelling exchanged between the parties to the conflict.

The mercenaries of the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" closed the Ghazawiya crossing, located between the countryside of the occupied city of Afrin and the western countryside of Aleppo, and only opened the Deir Ballout crossing between its areas with the occupied areas of Afrin, in an attempt to curb the massive displacement of civilians, according to observers.

The mercenaries of the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" of the Turkish occupation also closed several main roads, including Idlib-Sarmada, Atarib-Kafr Karmin, Tal al-Karama, and Termanin-Dana, in addition to the Idlib-Maarat Misrin road, after converting them into military lines, directing the movement of civilians to alternative routes.

The so-called "Salvation Government" of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries suspended working hours at its universities in Idlib and Aleppo, in addition to school hours today against the backdrop of escalation and exchange shelling between the 2 parties to the conflict in Idlib, Aleppo and its countryside.

Informed local sources told ANHA agency that there was a similar movement of displacement in the towns of Nubl and Zahra, which are under the control of the Damascus government forces, towards the city of Aleppo, against the backdrop of mutual shelling.
