British police raid headquarters of KCC in London and patriots homes

This morning, British police raided the headquarters of the Kurdish Community Centre in London and the homes of a number of Kurdish politicians and patriots.

During the raids, in which hundreds of police officers participated, the doors of the houses raided were reportedly smashed.

The search of the headquarters of the Kurdish community in Haringee, London, continues, with the street where the Centre is located closed.

According to reports, police officers turned the furniture and contents of the houses of Kurdish patriots upside down under the pretext of searching.

The co-chair of the KCC in Britain, Turkan Budak, the council's employee Arkan Iqbal, the writer and politician Ali Poyraz and the foreign relations representative of the Kurdish Community Council, Agid Karataş, have been arrested so far.

During the police raid on Turkan Budak's house, her brother Khairi Budak tried to prevent them from breaking down the door by force, during which he was injured, while Ali Boyraz was arrested in handcuffs and those in the house were stretched to the ground and violently dealt with by the police.

Sa'aid Soroç, co-chair of the Kurdish Community Council, called on revolutionary patriots and democratic parties in Haringee to gather in front of the KCC headquarters.
