Civilian killed, five others injured in drone attack North of Swedia

A civilian was killed and five others were injured north of Suwayda as a result of a drone strike launched by the Syrian Interim Government forces, coinciding with an attempted infiltration along the administrative border between Daraa and Swedia another violation of the ceasefire in the area.

The citizen Omar Al-Qadi was killed and five civilians were injured north of Swedia city in a drone attack carried out by the Syrian Interim Government forces, adding to a series of ceasefire violations in the region.

Local sources reported that the attack targeted the Salim and Atil axes, injuring Rawad Sharaf Al-Din, Jawad Sharaf Al-Din, Wajdi Sharaf Al-Din, Diya Abu Fakhr, and Rami Abu Munther, confirming that all of the victims were civilians.

A medical source told Al-Rased that Omar Al-Qadi, 37, arrived at the National Hospital already deceased after being directly targeted by a drone while driving his car near one of the poultry farms west of Atil town, where he worked transporting chickens.

In a related development, the National Guard thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Syrian Interim Government forces on the Bard axis near Bosra al-Sham, along the administrative border between Daraa and Swedia, reporting direct hits among the attackers.
