Catalonia affirms its support for DAA

The Co-presidency of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria discussed several key issues related to the transitional phase in Syria with a parliamentary delegation from Catalonia.

Today, the Co-presidency of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria welcomed a delegation from Catalonia, including parliamentarian Rubén Wagensberg and the parliamentarian and head of the Popular Unity Party, Carles Albert.

The meeting addressed several central issues, most notably developments related to the transitional phase in Syria and building a new Syria.

The two sides also discussed the challenges arising from Turkey's ongoing attacks on North and East Syria and Ankara's efforts to expand its influence in Syrian territory.

Additionally, the meeting touched on the experience of the DAA in North and East Syria, showcasing the successes of this model and its potential for adoption as a sustainable solution under current conditions.

The delegation expressed its support for the DAA at this stage, emphasizing the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides.
