Under the slogan "Protecting Western Kurdistan is Protecting Kurdistan," the Khoshan Group announced the launch of a campaign through a statement read at a press conference held in Baghi Keshti Park in Ranya District to support the forcibly displaced people from Afrin and Shahba Canton, and Tal Rifaat.

The group’s statement reads as follows:

"Following recent events and developments in Syria and Western Kurdistan, as our people face attacks by mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state, the regions of Western Kurdistan have witnessed a large-scale displacement from Shahba and Tal Rifaat, involving the people of Afrin.

With our people in Afrin being forcibly displaced for the second time and living under difficult conditions due to the destruction of their homes and the injustices they have endured over the past period, after years of struggle and resistance that became a source of inspiration for freedom seekers around the world, it is our duty today to provide all forms of support to them.

From this standpoint, as the 'Khoshan Group', and in cooperation with patriots, activists, and social figures, we consider ourselves responsible as a national, moral, and humanitarian entity to be part of the campaign to support our brothers and sisters in Western Kurdistan. Accordingly, we call on everyone to participate in fulfilling this duty according to their capabilities, in supporting and standing with our people in Western Kurdistan."
