Brussels court sheds light on Hevrin, Zeynep, Yusra and Liman case

Yesterday, the trial session of the Turkish occupation state for the crimes it committed in the NE Syria began at the People's Court in the Belgian capital, Brussels. With the participation of lawyers, journalists and human rights activists who deal with international crimes.

On the second day of the court, the first session dealt with the martyrdom file of the Kurdish politician and Secretary General of the Future Syria Party, Hevrin Khalaf, who was martyred on October 12, 2019, at the hands of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state.

Hevrin Khalaf is a symbol of the struggle of free women fighting for freedom. During the session, a previous interview with Hevrin Khalaf’s mother, Souad Mustafa, was presented, during which she spoke: “about the threat to which Hevrin was exposed before her martyrdom.”

During the session, it was discussed how the two politicians, the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, and the co-chair of the council, Liman Shweish, were martyred, who were martyred on June 20, 2023, in an attack launched by the Turkish occupation army via a drone on the car they were traveling on on the Qamishlo-Tirbespiyê road.

The file of the martyrdom of Zainab Saeed Muhammad, who was the co-chair of the Office of Justice and Reform in the Al-Jazira Canton, was also discussed, as she was martyred as a result of an air attack by the Turkish occupation at the Tal Juman village junction in the city of Girkê Legê in the Al-Jazira Canton, on September 27, 2022.

The impact of the Turkish occupation drone attacks on society was pointed out, in terms of spreading fear and terror in the souls of the people.

The session confirmed that most of those targeted are male and female entrepreneurs of the July 19 Revolution and members of the Autonomous Administration, which represents all components of society.
