Baghdad slams repeated targets on international coalition bases
The Iraqi government announced its rejection of target international coalition bases.
A military spokesman quoted the Iraqi government as saying that it rejects attacks on military bases that host international coalition advisors.
The Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani directed the security services to track down the groups carrying out the attacks.
He added, "The security and safety of these headquarters cannot be compromised," noting that "the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed all security services to carry out their duties, implement the law, track and trace the elements carrying out those attacks."
The spokesman's statement came after an escalation of missile and drone attacks on military bases hosting the forces of the international coalition against ISIS.
