 A delegation from the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, to hold a meeting with the transitional government of Syria.

A delegation from the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has arrived in the capital, Damascus, to hold a meeting with the transitional government, as part of ongoing efforts to implement the provisions of the March 10 Agreement signed between the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the transitional government.

This development follows a meeting held on October 6 that brought together the SDF’s General Commander, Mazloum Abdi; the Co-Chair of the Foreign Relations Department, Ilham Ahmed; the Commander of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), Rojhat Afrin; the Deputy Co-Chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ghassan al-Youssef; and the Head of the Future Syria Party, Abdul Hamid al-Mahbash, along with the US Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barrack, and the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, who led a delegation from the International Coalition.

No further details have yet been revealed regarding the timing of the meeting or the names of the delegation members traveling to Damascus.
