Autonomous Administration congratulates Syrian Christians on Easter

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria congratulated all Syrian Christians celebrating the glorious Easter holiday in a telegram.

The telegram read: "The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria extends its warmest congratulations and blessings to all Syrian Christians celebrating the glorious Easter holiday (according to both the Eastern and Western calendars), hoping that God Almighty will bring it back to our people and to all the peoples of the world with goodness and peace."

The Democratic Autonomous Administration explained: "We hope that the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ will be a salvation for peoples from oppression and slavery, and a quest for a life of dignity, freedom, and peace that will prevail among nations, especially in our country, Syria, where we strive to build a new homeland based on peace, which will become a victory and a possession for all. A peace that grants every claimant their rights, and a peace built on a democratic constitution that is consensual among all Syrian components—political, ethnic, and religious—that guarantees the rights and demands of all."
