ISIS cells arrested during sweep operations in al-Hol Camp
Thorough sweep operations inside al-Hol Camp on the second day led to the arrest of several ISIS sleeper cells.

According to ANHA agency’s correspondent, as part of the ongoing security campaign to sweep al-Hol Camp and its surroundings on the second day, security forces arrested a number of ISIS cells.
The Internal Security Forces and the Women’s Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria, with the participation of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and support from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), launched a security operation on Friday to sweep the camp and its surrounding areas.
The security campaign continues on its second day inside al-Hol Camp, which houses thousands of families of ISIS fighters, with extensive sweep operations.
The campaign aims to prevent ISIS cells from attempting to smuggle families of fighters, spread extremist ideology, and target humanitarian organization centers operating in the camp.
Al-Hol Camp is located 45 kilometers from the city of Hasakah and houses around 13,124 Iraqi nationals, approximately 15,805 Syrians, and 6,385 individuals from families of ISIS fighters.
