- Residents of Kobani affirmed that leader Abdullah Ocalan struggled for all peoples, and therefore, it is incumbent upon all peoples to rise up and play their part in ensuring his physical freedom. -Syrian politician Riad Darar asserted that Syria remains mired in political deadlock despite the changes witnessed on the Syrian and regional scene in recent times. He pointed out that the lack of consensus among the influential forces and the continued conflict of internal and external interests continue to hinder reaching a comprehensive and sustainable political solution.

- Teachers and students from the city of Tel Tamer welcomed the decision by the Ministry of Education in the Interim Government to recognize preparatory and secondary school certificates issued by the Autonomous Administration. They considered it a positive step resulting from years of effort and sacrifices, and called for this step to be completed by recognizing universities and institutes affiliated with the Autonomous Administration, thus guaranteeing the rights of students and graduates and their educational and academic future.
