A blackout is happening in the city of Hasakah now that over 500 private generators have gone off because of a lack of fuel amid demands from people that action be taken immediately to revive them and find another source of electricity.

According to ANHA correspondent, hundreds of private generators in the city of Hasakah have been unable to work today because of the absence of fuel, depriving thousands of families from their only source of electricity. This comes in light of a power outage and huge damage to the electricity network in the city.

It is being reported that over 500 generators were unable to work because of the fuel shortage, thus worsening the condition of the residents, considering the high temperature at the time and the dependence on the private generators as their source of electricity.

The residents in Hasakah are urging the concerned parties to find immediate actions to ensure the supply of diesel fuel to restart the generators.
