- With the outbreak of the Syrian revolution in 2011, the Kurdish issue entered a new phase, during which the Kurds emerged as an active player in the Syrian scene. This culminated in the establishment of the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF, followed by negotiations with Damascus after the fall of the regime in 2014, and the integration process that moved the Kurdish issue onto the political and constitutional track.

- Syrian private universities are competing with the most prestigious international universities in terms of tuition fees. The cost of studying in some specializations reaches tens of millions of Syrian pounds, placing higher education in a difficult economic equation, given the limited income and job opportunities for graduates. There are calls to regulate tuition fees and link them to purchasing power and the quality of education and services.

- Residents of Jal Agha and Tel Kocher criticized the decisions of the transitional government, saying that they have increased their economic burdens amidst declining services and rising prices. - Egyptian researcher Sahar Hassan asserted that the peace process in Turkey will be more difficult as long as leader Abdullah Ocalan remains imprisoned. She stated, "The process can continue despite his imprisonment, but achieving a lasting peace will be much more challenging."

- Kurdish language professor Arashk Baravi, who has been conducting research on the Kurdish language for 40 years, emphasized that language is the foundation of a people's existence, culture, and history. - The People's Initiative in Qamishlo is organizing a mass demonstration to condemn the Syrian Ministry of Education's decision to allocate only three class periods for the Kurdish language and to demand that the curriculum be taught in Kurdish. - In rejection of the Syrian Ministry of Education's decision regarding Kurdish language instruction, residents of Tel Tamer will hold a mass march at 10:00 AM. The Teachers' Training Institute in Hasakah will hold an event at 11:00 AM, and residents and students of Kobani will hold a demonstration starting from Free Woman Square at 11:00 AM.
