Aleppo notables seek to release Leader Ocalan

Three years and no information has been received about the status of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and despite his lawyer and his family submitting periodic and continuous requests to meet with their clients, all of them were met with no response, accompanied by an escalation in the struggle to reach his physical freedom, and a refusal to surrender to reality, as he spoke about Aleppo notables  told ANHA's agency.

Sheikh Ali Al-Hassan, one of the notables of Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo, believes that what is being practiced against leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison is not permissible, neither morally nor religiously, and is rejected by heavenly laws, stressing the continuation of the struggle.

What increases the discontent of the Sheikh Al-Ali is the silence of international powers and human rights organizations, most notably the Committee Against Torture (CPT), regarding the isolation imposed on him in Imrali prison, and the failure to seek to achieve his physical freedom.

He attributed the reason for his struggle to achieve the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan to “he is the man of this century, and the thinker of this time, and thanks to him there is a project of brotherhood of peoples, which was the beginning of the project of the democratic nation, which united all the components, there is no difference between the Kurd, the Arab, the Muslim, and the Christian. He brought the components together in a crucible.” One and we were waiting for someone like Leader Abdullah Ocalan to take us from the door of division to the door of unity and common social cohesion.”

The same is the case with the notable Ahmed Al-Qurayshi, who sees in Leader Abdullah Ocalan the leader of humanity, the leader of the revolution of thought before weapons, and the one who proposed ideas and projects to serve the oppressed peoples.

Al-Qurayshi said, "We saw ourselves as free because of his thought that included us. We are gathered around each other, Arabs, Kurds, and Turkmen, thanks to him, and because he was good."

He stressed the need to continue the struggle to achieve his physical freedom. “We must unite under one word and under autonomous administration, and demand the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan with all force, because the leader sacrificed his life for us.”
