Al-Hijri urges Syrians to get benefit from Kurdish Administrative experience

In an exclusive statement to ANHA agency, Al-Hijri remarked, “We have entered a phase of genuine reconstruction following the downfall of the former regime. The current period reflects a broad consensus among Syrians of all backgrounds and affiliations to establish a modern Syria that aligns with the cultural and historical ethos of the Syrian collective identity.”

 He expressed hope for cooperation among Syrians in building this new Syria, stating, “We anticipate collaboration with specialists from all components of Syrian society, including our Kurdish brothers, who bring a unique perspective to administration.”

 Al-Hijri also emphasized the necessity of future guarantees for all Syrian communities, saying:“There must be assurances for every group, including us—the Druze—and the Kurds, as well as all Syrian communities. These guarantees should uphold shared aspirations within an international legal framework and a national constitution that ensures freedom of expression and equitable participation in state governance across political, economic, cultural, and other domains.”

 Stressing the importance of inclusivity, Sheikh Al-Hijri reaffirmed his commitment to establishing a civil state for all Syrians:

“Syria must emerge as a civil state, inclusive of all its citizens, where open-mindedness and forward-looking ideas foster the creation of a modern state for the future.”
