European delegation visits Autonomous Administration of NE, Syria

 According to the official website of the AANES, the delegation was received by the Executive Council's Presidential Board, which provided an in-depth introduction to the structure and principles of the Autonomous Administration project.

 The Presidential Board highlighted the achievements of the Autonomous Administration over recent years, emphasizing its model of peaceful coexistence and its vision for a decentralized and pluralistic Syria.

 Discussions also addressed Turkey's exploitation of the collapse of the former Syrian regime, focusing on its military offensives in NE Syria, particularly around the Tishreen Dam and the Qara Qozak Bridge area.

 The Autonomous Administration expressed appreciation for the support provided by the International Coalition in partnership with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to combat ISIS and liberate the region from terrorism. The Presidential Board called on the European delegation to urge the international community to intervene and halt Turkish aggression in NE Syria.

 In turn, the European delegation commended the efforts and sacrifices of the people of NE Syria in their fight against terrorism. The delegates pledged to intensify their efforts and exert pressure on their respective governments to support the Syrian people's pursuit of a governance framework that includes all components of society.

 As a gesture of solidarity, the Italian delegation presented a commemorative gift to the Presidential Board of the Executive Council.

 The visit included a press conference addressing key topics such as relations with the new Syrian administration, the future of the country, ongoing Turkish aggressions, and the necessity of involving all Syrians in a national dialogue conference, with a strong emphasis on the inclusion of women and youth.
