According to the network, more than 600 books, including many written by women have been officially banned for allegedly conflicting with Sharia principles. The Taliban have also prohibited courses on gender studies and human rights, while internet outages in several provinces have disrupted online education, depriving thousands of female students from accessing schooling.

The network called on the international community to officially document these human rights violations and take urgent action to provide alternative education and media resources. It also emphasized the importance of supporting civil protests, particularly those led by women, against the ongoing restrictions.
