9 Syrian soldiers killed, wounded in Aleppo countryside
9 soldo of the Damascus government forces were killed and wounded over clashes with Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Two members of the Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it were killed, and 7 others were wounded, in targeting by "Tahrir al-Sham" mercenaries, during the past hours in Qubtan al-Jabal in the western countryside of Aleppo.
According to SOHR, violent clashes broke out with heavy weapons and machine guns between the two sides.
The clashes came after an attack of Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries on the positions of the Damascus government forces, where 3 Damascus government forces were killed, including an officer with the rank of captain, on March 11 in the areas of al-Tuffahiyah in the countryside of Latakia.
Thus, the number of those killed in ground attacks within the so-called “de-escalation” zone since the beginning of the year has risen to 116, during 110 attacks that varied between sniper operations, clashes, targeting, and suicide drones. More than 52 people were injured in the aforementioned operations.
