6 Damascus forces killed, wounded in rural Homs
A mine exploded in a car belonging to Damascus government forces in the Syrian desert, resulting in deaths and injuries.
A soldier of the Damascus government forces was killed, and 5 others, including an officer, were injured in varying degrees, as a result of a landmine explosion, coinciding with the passage of a military vehicle belonging to the Damascus government forces, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
SOHR pointed out that the explosion came during a sweeping campaign in the village of Al-Darwishiyah in the Jubb Al-Jarrah district in the eastern countryside of Homs, searching for ISIS mercenaries, where the injured were transferred to the hospital to receive treatment.
The death toll during military operations within the Syrian desert, according to the Syrian Observatory, has reached 100 since the beginning of 2024.
