5,000 $ for release of kidnapped Kurdish man in Tel Aran

The Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization stated that groups affiliated with the Syrian transitional government forces demanded the family of the kidnapped young man, Aboud Atto, from Tel Aran in the Aleppo countryside, to pay a ransom of $5,000 in exchange for his release.

The Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization reported that forces affiliated with the Syrian transitional government kidnapped Aboud Ahmed Jumaa Atto, 30 years old, his mother Fatima, from Tel Aran village in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Atto had recently returned from Southern Kurdistan to his hometown to see his family. The kidnappers claimed he had been listening to Kurdish songs while at his uncle's car dealership in the village, and they took him to al-Waha prison in al-Safira area in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

The organization added that the kidnappers demanded a 5,000 $ ransom from Aboud Atto's family in exchange for his release.
