US officials said that at least 5 US soldiers were wounded in the attack on Ain al-Asad air base yesterday evening, which houses US forces and International Coalition Consultants.
Yesterday, Iraqi security sources said that Ain al-Asad air base in western Al-Anbar province, Iraq, was subjected to missile bombardment, where one of the missiles fell in a gas station belonging to the coalition forces in Ain al-Assad, which led to a large fire and rising smoke plumes in it.
At the same time, it reported that a rocket launcher was found towards Ain al-Assad base in Wadi Hajalan in Haditha district, west of Al-Anbar.
