5 Turkish occupation mercenaries killed, others wounded southeast Manbij

Five mercenaries of the Turkish occupation were killed and others wounded southeast of Manbij, and three vehicles were destroyed.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stated that from last night until this morning, Wednesday, violent clashes took place between the Manbij Military Council forces and the Turkish occupation mercenaries southeast of Manbij city.

The clashes resulted in the killing of five mercenaries, the destruction of three of their vehicles, and the seizure of a quantity of weapons and ammunition.

The center confirmed: "Our forces, exercising their legitimate right to self-defense and responding to the attacks, directly targeted mercenary positions and fortifications in those areas."

On the Qereqozaqê Bridge front, the Turkish occupation targeted the bridge's surroundings and the Serrin Airport with heavy artillery, causing material damage only.

In the Zarkan area, a Turkish occupation drone targeted a checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces, resulting in the martyrdom of one member and a member of the Military Discipline Forces, in addition to the injury of four others from the Internal Security Forces.
