5 Syrian soldiers killed in IED blast in Palmyra desert
Five Damascus government forces, including an officer were killed as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted by ISIS cell members in their car in the Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that five Damascus government forces, including an officer were killed in Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs by the explosion of an IED planted earlier by ISIS cells in their vehicle
" ISIS continues to escalate its attacks in different areas in the Syrian desert, including armed attacks and detonation of landmines and IEDs." SOHR added.
