On Saturday evening, Ghassan Abo Fakhr was shot in the thigh near the civilian prison by forces of the Transitional Government. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

In a related incident, the western countryside of Sweida witnessed several violations, most notably on Friday evening when Basil Ismail Areej was shot by a sniper from the direction of Al-Mazraa village. According to local sources, the bullet wounded his hand, which was later amputated due to the severity of the injuries.

These sniper attacks coincided with intensive drone activity and sporadic attacks targeting civilian areas in the western countryside of Sweida. The National Guard forces in Sweida described this escalation as "contrary to international conventions that prohibit targeting civilians, especially during internationally brokered ceasefires."
