2 mercenaries killed, 3 others injured and 2 drones destroyed north of Tishrin Dam

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the public regarding the outcome of military operations on the southern Kobani front and the Tishrin Dam countryside on February 3.

The statement read:

"Two mercenaries were killed, and three others were injured during an operation conducted by our forces against two gatherings of Turkish occupation mercenaries in the northern countryside of Tishrin Dam. Additionally, several Turkish occupation soldiers and mercenaries were injured in a series of operations carried out by our forces as part of legitimate retaliation in the Qereqozaqê Hill area and its surroundings, along with the destruction of several enemy fortifications.

Continuing its crimes and violations, the Turkish occupation carried out an airstrike on the ‘Ahmed Munir’ farm in the western countryside of Kobani, in addition to other airstrikes targeting villages south of Kobani, such as 'Ghasaq, Al-Tina, Dikan, and Jadda,' as well as the town of Serrin and its airport, causing extensive damage to farms and residents' properties.

In the vicinity of Deir Hafir, Turkish occupation drones bombed one of our forces' positions, resulting in the martyrdom of two of our fighters. The Turkish occupation also attempted to detonate two suicide drones at one of our positions in the northern countryside of Tishrin Dam. However, our fighters successfully intercepted and destroyed them.

Simultaneously with the aerial attacks, the Turkish occupation shelled villages in the southern countryside of Kobani and the city of Serrin with nearly 200 heavy artillery and tank shells, in addition to shelling villages in the southern countryside of Manbij and the northern countryside of Tishrin Dam, causing material damage to residents' homes and properties."
