2 members of Internal Security, one citizen injured by gunmen attack in Tabqa

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria published a report on its official website today regarding the targeting of two of its members and a civilian in the Tabqa Canton. The statement read:

"At 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 28, two individuals riding a motorcycle carried out a cowardly attack targeting two members of our forces while they were standing in front of a store near the western roundabout in the city of Mansoura, located in the eastern countryside of the Tabqa district. The attackers used Kalashnikov-type weapons."

The center added: "This cowardly attack resulted in the injury of two members of our forces, in addition to the injury of a civilian who was present at the site at the time of the attack."

He explained: "Our forces are continuing their intensive efforts to track down those involved in this terrorist act and bring them to justice. While we strongly condemn this cowardly attack and attempts to create security chaos in the region, the center affirmed: "We are fully committed to our national responsibilities in protecting the security and stability of our regions, and such despicable attempts will not deter us from performing our duty and continuing our path with determination.
