19 killed in Syria due to explosions, assassinations, separate incidents

At least 19 people, most of them foreigners, were killed in Syria over the past 24 hours due to explosions, assassinations, and various other incidents.

In different parts of Syria, no fewer than 19 people lost their lives over the past 24 hours in incidents ranging from explosions and assassinations to mysterious circumstances.

In Idlib, at least 10 people were killed and 9 others injured following the explosion of a workshop and an ammunition warehouse belonging to foreign groups (Turkistanis and Uzbeks) affiliated with the Syrian Transitional Government. The facility was located in a building near the towns of Kafriya and Al-Fu'ah.

In the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, a young man was shot dead in a family dispute over a piece of land in the town of Suwaydan. In the city of Hama, a mysterious explosion at a farm in the village of Jabreen led to the deaths of three people, including a child, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In the Haribsha desert south of Deir ez-Zor, a young man from Raqqa countryside was killed by a landmine explosion. A young woman also died from injuries she sustained over a month ago due to stray gunfire in Aleppo. Another young man from the town of Halfaya in Hama countryside died from stray bullets in Damascus.

In the town of Mahja in northern rural Daraa, a young man was killed after unidentified gunmen stormed his home and opened fire on him after midnight. The attackers' identities remain unknown.

The Syrian Observatory also reported that “an Iraqi jihadist was killed after being directly shot by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle in the Al-Jabeileh neighborhood of Salqin, northwest of Idlib.”
