17 mercenaries killed and 40 others injured in vicinity of Tishreen Dam

Today, the Media Center of the SDF issued a statement to the public, in which it revealed the outcome of the Turkish attacks and the operations carried out by its forces in the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam.

The statement read:

"Our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, inflicted major blows on the Turkish occupation forces and mercenaries on several fronts in NE Syria, especially on the fronts of the Tishreen Dam.

At one o'clock in the evening of Friday, December 27, the mercenaries launched an attack on our forces from 2 axes, the first from the side of the town of "Abu Qalqal", and the other from the side of the village of "Alloush", and violent clashes broke out between our forces and the mercenaries, in which the mercenaries received severe blows at the hands of our fighters, as a whole group of them were eliminated at the beginning of the clashes. Our forces also dealt a major blow to the reinforcements brought by the enemy. While there were no casualties among our forces, only one of our fighters was slightly wounded.

The units of the martyr "Haroun" also targeted 4 military vehicles of mercenaries that were hiding between houses, and managed to destroy them all, in addition to that they were also able to eliminate another group of mercenaries in that area.

The resistance of our comrades to the attacks of mercenaries resulted in the death of /17/ mercenaries, including the mercenary "Abu Fayez", commander of the so-called "Northern Commando Brigade" and the wounding of /40/ others, including commanders.
