Girê Spi district and its countryside in the Euphrates region were subjected to aggressive attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. The violent bombardment, in which all heavy weapons and drones were used, caused most of the service facilities, including water and electricity stations, to be out of service, while some of them could not be repaired or the extent of their damage estimated due to the difficulty. Technical and emergency workshops arrive due to attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

Among the service facilities that were completely targeted and destroyed were the al-Fatsa village water tank, 15 kilometers east of Ain Issa district, and the main water line leading to it, in addition to partial damage to both the al-Khalidiya village tanks, 5 kilometers west of Ain Issa) and al-Alimat (2 kilometers). ) as a result of being targeted by missiles in the body of the service facility.

The co-chair of the Water Directorate in Girê Spi district, Sanaa Al-Ali, said: “The Al-Fatsa water tank was completely out of service as a result of it being directly targeted.”

Sanaa Al-Ali indicated that they have not been able to estimate or repair the damage until now. Because it was not possible for technical workshops to reach that area, because everyone who approached them was targeted by fire from, the Turkish occupation snipers and its mercenaries stationed in the occupation bases in the village of Shirkrak, which is only 2 kilometers away from the village of Fatsa.

Sanaa Al-Ali indicated that the Turkish occupation also targeted the main pumping line that feeds the tank from the al-Hisha water station, in addition to targeting the hall body at the main station in the village.

Regarding the impact of targeting this reservoir, Sanaa al-Ali said: “Targeting the reservoir caused a complete cut off of water in both the village of al-Fatsa and the villages of the eastern countryside of Ain Issa district (al-Saramda - al-Kharijah - Mubarak), in addition to the villages adjacent to the M4 international road.”

Sanaa al-Ali stressed their endeavor to repair the damage and provide the possible services to the people as quickly as possible.
