National, political figures praise the global campaign for leader Abdullah Ocalan

Solidarity continues in North and East Syria with the global campaign (Freedom for Ocalan, political solution to the Kurdish issue). In the context of solidarity reactions, political, national and cultural figures from the city of Hasakah spoke to ANHA's agency.

The national figure, Abdul Razzaq Mohammad, pointed out the severity of the systematic isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and considered it “a new conspiracy targeting him so that no one knows his situation and his analyzes reach the world.”

He praised the global campaign, saying: “The launch of the initiative in 74 cities shows the extent of the leader’s influence in the world and the advocates of humanity.”

He called on the peoples of the region, its components, institutions, parties, and those influencing public opinion to participate in this campaign, support it, and work for it to reach its goals, to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

“Everyone is required to raise the pace of the struggle.”

A member of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Aldar Mohammad, said: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan has a humanitarian philosophy in the Middle East. He has become a target for the dominant countries to conspire against him and arrest him, to imprison his thought and philosophy, but he made that isolated prison a source for his philosophy, which has become widespread in the world.”

He added, "The tightening of isolation by the Turkish occupation authorities is an attempt to distance the leader from the world, and the crises in the Middle East will continue as the dominant countries go along with them to impose themselves on the region."

Aldar Mohammad noted that “everyone is required today to take to the streets and raise the pace of their struggle to achieve the physical freedom of Leader Ocalan and lift the isolation imposed on him, because his freedom is the freedom of the Kurdish people and the region’s salvation from crises.”

He called for engaging in the global campaign "and working together to achieve its goals."

“Isolation for the leader is isolation for the Kurdish people.”

Azhar Ahmed, a member of the Union of Intellectuals in the Jazira region, also spoke, who explained that "the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan is an isolation on the entire people, and on the solution of the Kurdish issue in the Middle East."

He added: "We, as intellectuals, must reach all intellectuals in the world and the region and inform them of the Kurdish issue and the reason for the international conspiracy that targeted the leader and the isolation imposed on him, and engage in the campaign launched to achieve his physical freedom."

He concluded: "Everyone must see that this campaign is a national campaign, and everyone must participate in it to lift the isolation of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, because through it our voice can be conveyed to the whole world."
