​​​​​​​Struggle must be escalated in confronting Turkish occupation attacks'

The administrators of the Islamic Democratic Conference, Reem Idris and Batoul Hamzawi, spoke about the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE, Syria, and its targeting of residential areas and infrastructure of the region.

Reem Idris explained that the Turkish occupation state’s targeting of the region, including the infrastructure, is a blatant message from it that it is capable of committing murders and launching occupational attacks without accountability, monitoring, or even condemnation from organizations that claim to be humanitarian.

Reem Idris confirmed that this policy is not new to the “Erdogan regime,” and said: “What it is committing against our people in NE, Syria is a crime that cannot be tolerated.”

Regarding the role of women in resisting the attacks of the Turkish occupation, Reem Idris explained: “We must escalate our struggle, go out in demonstrations, raise the voice of truth, and oppose all criminal acts committed against our safe people.”

For her part, Batoul Hamzawi condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on northern and eastern Syria. She called on civil society organizations to stand up to this Turkish state and its attacks on the region.
