The Youth Council and the leftist Green Party in the city of Muş in Bakur Kurdistan organized an event to denounce the Turkish occupation attacks on northern and eastern Syria, and to make a statement to public opinion, but the Turkish police raided the gathering and arrested 9 people.

According to what was published by Furat news agency, the gathering was organized in Kobani Square in the city of Muş, but the Turkish police did not allow them to make a statement.

The agency mentioned the names of the detained persons: “The co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) in Muş Salamuddin Yılmaz, the co-chair of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Muş, Birmal Nukş, member of the Executive Body of the left-wing Green Party, Ibrahim Boz, members of the HDP council in Muş, Cicek Tutush.” , Omer Koc and Ume Tegürk, member of the Youth Council Ma’ruf Çalik, Serhad Dursun and a person whose name is not yet known.”
