PYD recalls martyr Muhammad Bozan

The Democratic Union Party organized a memorial ceremony for the martyr Muhammad Bozan on the first anniversary of his martyrdom, at his shrine in the Martyrs’ Shrine in the Al-Shaddadi region with the participation of the people and some civil institutions and administrations.

On October 13, 2022, the member of the Protection Committee of the Al-Shaddadi District Council and the member of the Democratic Union Party, Muhammad Bozan, was assassinated by ISIS mercenary cells while returning to his home in the village of Alous.

During the ceremony, the co-chair of Al-Shaddadi Council, Iman Ramadan, gave a speech in which she remembered the martyr Muhammad Hussein Bozan and said: “The martyr was a role model for all his friends at work. He had great will and character, and today we renew our pledge to him to keep up with his struggle.”

In turn, the member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Abdul Ghani Owusu, touched on the qualities that the martyr Muhammad possessed and his struggle for the freedom of peoples and humanity.

For his part, Fadel Al-Ahmad, the member of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Shaddadi  stressed the follow-up of the martyr Muhammad’s struggle to achieve freedom and democracy in NE Syria.

He called for unifying ranks and strengthening national unity to confront the challenges facing the region and achieving a democratic Syria.

The ceremony ended with laying a wreath on the shrine of the martyr Muhammad Bozan.
