Intellectuals-politicians in response to PDK: We will confront the treasonous approach with our national unity

Popular discontent is increasing in the regions of NE, Syria regarding the hostility of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK), to the freedom approach represented by the philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan and his support for the Turkish occupier against his religion.

In this context, the co-chair of the Intellectuals Union in Girke Legé, Lalish Ismail Haibat, denounced the policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which is based on "supporting the occupiers and enemies in order to achieve party and family interests at the expense of exterminating the Kurdish people and their cause."

He added, "If the Kurdistan Democratic Party had not supported the Turkish occupation, it would not have dared to enter the territory of Kurdistan, and the regions of Southern Kurdistan would not have become enclaves for traitors and agents."

Haibat called on the Kurdistanis to stand together to confront the approach of treason that is rooted in the Kurdistan Democratic Party and to end it in Kurdistan in order to preserve the gains that were achieved thanks to the blood of thousands of martyrs, male and female.

In his turn, a member of the Intellectuals Union in Girke Legé, Shawkat Muslim, described “the support provided by the Kurdistan Democratic Party to the Turkish occupation as high treason against the Kurdish cause,” and continued, “It has crossed all limits of employment by dealing with enemies and occupiers at the expense of the lives of Kurdistan’s guerrillas, the Guerrilla forces, who protected the Kurdistanis’ gains.”

Muslim stated that "Kurdish revolutions and movements have previously failed due to internal betrayals, and what the Kurdistan Democratic Party is practicing today represents a continuation of the line of betrayal in Kurdistan with the aim of ending the issue of the Kurds and Kurdistan."

He stressed, "We will confront treason with our national unity, and for the sake of the freedom of Kurdistan, we will escalate the fight and struggle in all fields to protect the gains of our revolution and our revolutionary struggle."

The Kurdish writer Sheikhmus Juma'a agreed with his fellow intellectuals, and added: “The Democratic Party continues to betray the free approach in Kurdistan because of its narrow family interests and the increase of its balance in banks at the expense of the Kurdish cause.”

He called on all the Kurdistan people, saying, "The betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party sticks a dagger in the back and side of the Kurdish cause. All Kurds must realize this fact and confront it to uproot the roots of treason in Kurdistan."

For his part, Mohammad Saeed, a member of the Democratic Union Party in the city of Derik, denounced the Turkish attacks and genocide campaigns launched on the defense areas with the support of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

He stressed, "We must unite and close ranks in the face of the line of treason and treason in Kurdistan," and warned that "its continuation means new crises and dangers targeting the Kurds." He said, "Let us support the Guerrilla forces in their war against the occupiers and traitors."
