Jazira people conveyed their criticisms, proposals to Global Coalition

The people of the districts of Jal Agha, Rumailan, Garkê Legê, and Derik made a statement to public opinion this afternoon (October 7) in the town of Rumailan with the aim of condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and the silence of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.

Then the people went to the headquarters of the Global Coalition in the village of Skiri. A delegation representing the people entered the headquarters and met with coalition officials.

Member of the Notables and Notables Foundation of Jazira Region, Hawass Jadie, who accompanied the delegation, spoke about the content of the meeting.

Hawass Jadie stated that during the meeting, they touched on the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on service and energy centers in the region and expressed their dissatisfaction with the silence of the coalition.

Jadie said: “We mentioned that control of the airspace is in the hands of the Coalition Forces, but they have not taken any step against the attacks. Therefore, if this policy continues, we, as the people and tribes of the region, will no longer trust them. We asked them to change their policy, impose an air embargo on the region, and acknowledge "In the institutions of the Autonomous Administration, we also asked them to take steps to address the damage and rebuild the destroyed centers."

Hawass Jadie reported that coalition officials confirmed that they would convey the residents’ criticisms and suggestions to the relevant authorities.
