Emphasis on holding accountable those who target the security; stability of Deir ez-Zor

The Deir ez-Zor region has recently witnessed several attempts to push the region into strife, after the Syrian Democratic Forces launched a military operation to “ Security Enhancement” to pursue ISIS cells, criminal groups, and drug dealers and dealers, according to what the SDF reported in its statement. The people of the region see it as an attempt to destabilize the security and stability of their regions.

Muhammad al-Abdullah, a resident of the town of al-Sour in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, touched on the recent events that Deir ez-Zor witnessed, and said about what their areas are witnessing: “This is a sedition aimed at destabilizing the security of the region and sabotage. We stand against those who support this sedition, which is not in anyone’s interest but rather it is in the interest of external parties that aim to undermine the democratic nation’s project.”

He explained to ANHA's agency: "We, the people of the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, support our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we and our forces are in one trench in the face of strife, and in the face of any terrorist act that attempts to strike the security and stability of our regions. We support our forces and stand behind them to control security and stability."

Al-Abdullah stressed that the acts of sabotage that took place in Deir ez-Zor were led by an external agenda, and he explained: “They paid exorbitant sums to destroy the region and destabilize security, and with the people and SDF standing together, we will not allow this terrorist act, and we will deter it and hold accountable everyone who dares to tamper with the security and stability of the region."

Citizen Azzawi Al-Harbi, a resident of the town of al-Sour, confirmed that the people of Deir ez-Zor stand with their forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and said: “We reject all foreign interference that seeks to tamper with the security and stability of our regions, most notably the Iranian militias, the Damascus government, and the Turkish occupation state.”

Al-Harbi stated: “We, the people of Deir ez-Zor, are united with the Syrian Democratic Forces in one trench and under the banner of the SDF. The SDF represents us, because it brought security and stability to the region, and removed injustice and slavery from the people of the region, and we praise the efforts of our heroic forces.”

Al-Harbi explained that what happened in Deir ez-Zor recently was caused by outside hands, with a name bearing the name of the tribes, to create strife among the tribesmen. He said: “The SDF and the people are aware of these plans and they foiled the conspiracy that aimed to create strife.”

Al-Harbi called on the Syrian Democratic Forces to intensify their efforts and hold accountable all saboteurs who wanted to tamper with the security and stability of the region.
